– JIBS is one of the best environments in Sweden in terms of combining research and education of high quality and international connection with high relevance for the surrounding society and a strong local support. I very much look forward to my new mission and the challenge of working more actively with cooperation with the surrounding community – both locally, nationally and internationally. My ambition is to work with the strong team which is already in place to contribute to a continued positive development of JIBS and Jönköping University, says Jerker Moodysson.

– There has been a great interest for the post as Dean. This is not so surprising given JIBS very high national and international reputation. Jerker has through his leadership and his research at CIRCLE developed a broad experience in the academic system, and its link to and development of the surrounding community. He has worked with both strategic and operational leadership, and will be an asset for further development of JIBS and Jönköping University. We welcome Jerker to Jönköping University, says Vice President Lars Niklasson.

– The electoral college is very satisfied with the choice of Jerker Moodysson as the new Dean of JIBS. He is an established international researcher, with a strong leadership capacity and is well anchored in industrial life, says Ethel Brundin, chair of the electoral college at JIBS.
