JU Sustainability Day on 20 September

Presentations, workshops and panel discussions focusing on sustainability will be held on Campus during JU Sustainability Day on 20 September.

Sustainability is in focus during JU Sustainability Day which is being arranged by the JU Sustainability Network. The day has a packed schedule with presentations, workshops and panel discussions with representatives from both JU and the local business sector.

The day starts off at 08:00 in room B1033 at the School of Engineering with an introductory presentation by Marcela Ramirez Pasillas, Project Manager at JU Sustainability Network. At 10:00 Parul Sharma takes the stage at the JU aula to give a keynote presentation about the UN's sustainability goals, and at 13:15 representatives from the local business sector participate in a panel discussion about sustainability in practice.

JU Sustainability Day is held for the first time this year and is part of the Climate Week. The purpose of the Climate Week is to contribute to the vision of making Jönköping a surplus energy county by 2050. The Climate Week is characterized by cross-border, accessible and motivating activities providing knowledge, inspiration and awareness about the benefits of active climate work.
