Lecture on the theme human rights

This Friday, 15 September, the first JU event of the autumn related to the Swedish Forum for Human Rights will be held. Then you are welcome to listen to Nicola Lucchi’s presentation on human rights and technology.

On 9-11 November, JU together with a number of other organizations, are arranging the Swedish Forum for Human Rights, also called MR-dagarna, on Elmia in Jönköping. Before this, a number of events will be held at JU to highlight human rights from different perspectives.

On Friday, you have the opportunity to hear Nicola Lucchi, associate professor in law, speak about his research on human rights and technology: "The impact of science and technology on the rights of the individual".

Nicola will discuss some typical legal issues created and generated by recent advances in science and technology. In particular, he will present a series of cutting-edge contemporary and controversial case-studies where scientific and technological developments intersect with fundamental legal rights.
