In 2014 the ESTHER project helped Jönköping to make CNN's list of the top ten healthiest cities in the world together with Copenhagen, Okinawa, New York, Melbourne and other cities.
In 2017 the ESTHER network was named as ''the best initiative to support active and healthy aging". With this review and in competition with 600 nominees, ESTHER received a distinguished prize from the EU at the conference "Opening Up an Era of Social Innovation".

Nicoline Vackerberg, Coordinator of the Esther Network International, Operations Developer at the Highland Health Care Center and Assistant Professor at the Jönköping Academy, will be talking on ESTHER together with two ESTHER patient representatives Johan and Marie Winald Karlsson.

This event is public and free of cost. It will take place in classroom 231 at Grännaskolan. Sign up at the latest on Tuesday 24th April by sending an email with ''your name+ESTHER FIKA'' to xiaoli.nordenankar@ju.se.

Esther Fika is an opportunity to get to know the basics and essence of ESTHER's work. Read more here.
