Advanced Digital Retailing 7,5 Credits
Course Contents
The course is organized around three broad themes (and corresponding sub-themes), where theparticipants will read selected articles but also search for and analyze additional readings within one
sub-theme in each of the three main themes. The first theme covers digital retailing from a
sustainability perspective, and it in particular focus on the role of digitalization to drive sustainability
in an digital retailing context. The second theme view digital retailing from a (digital) consumer
marketing perspective. The third theme takes a global perspective on digital retailing, and traces how
digitalization goes hand-in-hand with globalisation to create new opportunities (and threaths) for
digital retailers.
The course pays special attention to how leading scholars conceptually design studies within the
themes, and the course trains the participants in designing theoretically sound and interesting research
projects.
