Interested in an experience abroad? Do you want to have a better understanding about health and welfare from an international perspective? This course provides an opportunity to better understand the global situation related to health and welfare.Course Contents
- assessing, identifying and critically reviewing published reports
- welfare factors, determinants and consequences of disability/disease
- diverse health and social perspectives and interventions
- strategies for promoting health in diverse contexts and facilitate community development
- social determinants of health and the relevance for different professions’ perspective
- cultural competence and cultural sensitive health and welfare approaches
Prerequisites
The requirement for entry into this course are passing grades of 30 credits in any educational area.Level of Education: Undergraduate G1F
