The course is conducted through seminars, group activities and clinical practice combined with reflections at a local dental laboratory and in a student clinic.Course Contents
- hygiene aspects at dental clinics- examination of teeth and various tissues of the mouth
- analyzing, assessing and recording the need of oral health effort
- prevention of oral diseases; caries and periodontitis
- oral hygiene methods
- evaluating the advised interventions
- scaling
Prerequisites
The student must have passed the equivalent of 30 higher education credits in the area of Oral health at the home university in order to qualify for admission to this course.Level of Education: Undergraduate G1F
