Advanced Supply Chain Management 2: Integration and Alliances 7,5 Credits

Course Contents

The course takes a holistic view of the supply chain and the competition between supply chains. The main themes of the course are:

  • integration and Power of Supply Chains and Inter-organizational Collaboration,
  • strategic Alliances Development,
  • inter-Organizational learning in Supply Chain Management,
  • supply chain strategy and change,
  • performance measurement in Supply Chains,
  • procurement in supply chains.

Connection to research and practice
This course builds on the research activities and practical results from research areas involving power, alliances, and performance measurement at the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership; innovation, negotiations and change management issues from research at the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Spatial Economics as well as the Media, Management and Transformation Centre. The students in this course will have opportunities to analyze relevant research results, cases and experiences from the business cases undertaken in the research centers.

Prerequisites

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (i.e the equivalent of 180 credits at an accredited university) including Advanced Supply Chain Management 1, 7.5 credits (or the equivalent).
