Course Contents

• Studies of basic concepts, definitions and analytical methods of relevance for literary studies
• Studies of fictional texts from English-speaking countries and cultures of the world presented through various genres and media forms
• Text-analytical exercises dealing with social and cultural aspects, including gender and multiculturalism, of relevance for the texts studied

Prerequisites

General requirements and English proficiency is required. Exemption is granted from the requirement in Swedish.
