Swedish Language, Culture and Society I 7,5 Credits
This course will give a basic knowledge of Swedish grammar, vocabulary and everyday phrases. Furthermore, it will give sufficient language skills and a general ”know-how” to understand and make yourself understood in situations occurring in daily life in Sweden. It will also give an overview over Swedish society and culture.Course Contents
• Basic communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing (1, 3, 4, 5)• Basic Swedish grammar (1, 3, 4)
• Lectures (in English) on Swedish culture and society (2, 5)
Prerequisites
General requirements and English proficiency is required. Exemption is granted from the requirement in Swedish.Level of Education: Undergraduate G1N
