One Year Master Thesis in Interventions in Childhood 15 Credits

Uppsatskursen är en del av en engelskspråkig, internationell, tvärvetenskaplig utbildning vilken fokuserar på interventioner för barn som är i behov av särskilt stöd för sin utveckling och vardagsfungerande. Uppsatsen görs som en litteraturöversikt inom ett relevant område. Översikten kan senare utgöra basen för en empirisk studie, om studenten väljer att fortsätta studera på mastersnivå.

  • Opposition on another master thesis The student carries out an empirical study which is published in the form of a research report and/or as an article in a scientific journal. The master thesis course provides tools for producing written documentation of research. The thesis can be linked to ongoing research at the university and be conducted in cooperation with researchers in the international network of CHILD.

Prerequisites

The applicant must hold the minimum of a bachelor’s degree (i.e. the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) with at least 90 credits in health and care sciences, behavioral science, social work, disability research, or educational sciences, including independent, theoretical based work, i.e. a thesis or the equivalent. English proficiency is required. Exemption is granted from requirement in Swedish.
