Client-side Programming II 7,5 Credits

Course Contents

The course is a follow up on the prerequisite course Client-side programming I, which focused on learning the basics of programming using JavaScript. The main focus in this course is to create an interactive web application for mobile devices. Therefore, the content of this course depends on what areas of client-side programming the students wish to immerse in. Individual-, and group tutoring is the predominant form of teaching in this course.


The course includes the following parts:
- JavaScript, object-oriented client-side programming
- Reusable JavaScript-libraries
- Manipulating HTML and Document Object Model
- Design principles and concepts including Event-driven programming, module handling and closures

Prerequisites

General entry requirements and a passing grade in the courses Web and User Interface Design 9 credits and Graphic Design and Visual Communication I, 15 credits
