Sweden is often ranked as one of the best countries in the world to live and study in. Famous for its breathtaking nature, only 3% of the country is inhabited, leaving the rest a natural paradise of huge forests, mountains and lakes.
It’s a clean, safe and tolerant country with a high standard of living. Swedes work hard but take their leisure time seriously and Swedish summer is a great time to meet up with friends for a swim in the lake, a BBQ or just a quick ‘fika’ (a coffee with something to eat).
Sweden is also a cultural treasure chest. One of biggest exporters of music, it also leads the way in design and fashion. Sweden is also a leader in innovation and is home to some of the most well-known brands in the world such as Volvo, Ikea, Ericsson and H&M.
