One of the reasons Chinese student Sun Bei chose to study the Master's Programme in Product Development and Management at the School of Engineering was the school's close collaboration with companies.
"The School of Engineering offers programmes and courses that are highly relevant to business and industry, especially small- and medium-sized enterprises. The collaboration with companies gives me a good opportunity to practice knowledge in real life."
Before coming to Jönköping University, Bei read about the University and was attracted to its international atmosphere as well as the collaborations.
"The atmosphere for education is brilliant and all education has a solid technological base. Although the University is small, it has everything you need. The projects I've done, related to my programme, have given me a deep insight into Swedish companies and their way of working."
She thinks that Jönköping and Sweden are good places to live.
"Jönköping is the tenth largest city in Sweden and has the second biggest lake, Vättern, which is located in the city centre close to the university. The city and the lake are so beautiful, especially in summer. I love Sweden — the education, the design, the culture, the nature and the people are all fantastic."
