JU to implement a new Ladok

JU to implement a new Ladok

Ladok will be unavailable Wednesday 28 February - Monday 12 March.

The registration deadline for exams held in March and April is 22 February. If you have any exams in this period, make sure that you are registered!

Below, you can read about how the transition to the new system will affect you and what you need to do before the transition:

Examination: The regular exam registration deadlines have been altered. Thus, the registration deadline for exams held in March and April is 22 February. In cases where both the regular exam and the retake are scheduled for the above period, you are recommended to register also for the retake 22 February at the latest. Students who pass a regular exam in this period will be deregistered from the retake. Make sure also to register for exams held in March and April in courses that have not yet started. If you want to retake a previously passed exam (only possible for students at the School of Engineering), please register in our case management systemexternal link, opens in new window.

Confirmation of exam registration: As JU Mobile and Ladok Web Services will be affected by Ladok being temporarily closed, for exams held in March and April, you will not be able to see confirmation of your registration in your mobile or on the Web. In connection with your registration, you will, however, receive confirmation via email. If you are not sure whether you have registered, please check if you have received a confirmation email.

Examination schedule: You will not be able to access the schedule for exams held in March and April in JU Mobile. An updated examination schedule will therefore be published on the Student Web a few days before each exam. You can also turn to Service Center with questions about exam venues and times.

In the period from 28 February to 13 March:

Ladok will be closed, and this will affect several services:

Course schedules: If you are already a user of JU Mobile, you will have access to your schedules in the application. New users will receive a message saying that the system is being updated.

The schedules will also be available on the Student Web.

Registration: It will not be possible to register for courses while Ladok is unavailable. Make sure that you are registered for all courses that you will take in the spring semester.

Transcripts of records, registration certificates and course certificates: During the transition to the new system, you will not be able to obtain any transcripts of records, registration certificates or course certificates. If you are in need of a transcript, registration certificate or course certificate in the near future, make sure to obtain one via Ladok Web Services or Service Center.

Exam results: No exam results or credit transfers can be registered in Ladok while the system is closed. This may result in the registration of exam results and credit transfers taking longer than usual. In addition, you will not be able to see any exam results already reported to Ladok while the system is closed.

Degree certificates: It will not be possible to apply for degree certificates, and no degree certificates will be issued.
