Leading Conferences
CeFEO Members are actively participating in multiple roles of the leading research conferences in the Family Business, Ownership, and Entrepreneurship fields.
Examples of such conferences include: the EIASM Workshop on Family Firm Management Research (EIASM-FB), the International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA) Annual Conference, the Babson Conference on Entrepreneurship Research (BCERC), the Family Enterprise Research Conference (FERC), the European Academy of Management (EURAM) Annual Conference, the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting, and the Strategical Management Society (SMS) Conference.
CeFEO Members are actively and consistently present at these conferences where they engage as Session Chairs, Speakers at Professional Development Workshops, and Speakers at Doctoral and Faculty Development Consortiums. Among these activities, are some notablecases (in alphabetic order):
- Massimo Baù
has been “Chair of the Strategic Interest Group on Family Business Research” at the 18th European Academy of Management (EURAM) Conference, in 2018, concluding a 4 year commitment (2015-2018).
- Lucia Naldi
is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC), since 2019.
- Daniel Pittino
has been “Program Chair-Elected of the Strategic Interest Group on Family Business Research” at the 19th European Academy of Management (EURAM) Conference, in 2019. Daniel Pittino will continue his engagement with EURAM in 2020 with the role of “Program Chair”, and in 2021-2022 as “Chair of the Strategic Interest Group on Family Business Research”.
