Senior Lecturer in Reading and Reading Promotion, School of Library and Information Science, University of Borås

I have a PhD in literary studies and am employed at the School of Library and Information Science, University of Borås. My research focuses on literature, reading and the role of reading promotion in relation to contemporary media society and digital technology. I am currently participating in a VR-funded research project called ‘Between Sound and Text,’ together with a colleague at Lund University, which specifically investigates how commercial digital audiobooks affect literature and literary culture.

I have edited three research anthologies, most recently Poesins platser – om poesins betydelse i perifera och populära rum (Places of Poetry – on the significance of poetry in peripheral and popular spaces), and carried out a number of follow-up research projects in collaboration with actors such as the Swedish Arts Council and the Swedish Agency for Accessible Media, which have resulted in scientific reports.
