A learning network to advance understanding, use of coproduction of healthcare service.
People in the 21st century use a variety of formal and informal networks to learn. Some years ago, Etienne Wenger and colleagues explored these social learning systems and developed the idea of a “community of practice.” These communities of practice take several forms—from relatively “open” membership to “enrolled” membership.
To build a community of practice with open membership, we are offering virtual learning sessions in partnership with the International Society for Quality of Health Care (ISQua). Sessions include:
18 June 2020 @ 10:00-12:00 EDT: Introducing coproduction and learning partners
20 August 2020 @ 10:00-12:00 EDT: Empathy with 'the individuals formerly known as patients'
15 October 2020 @ 10:00-11:00 EDT: Current state 'as is' assessment
17 December 2020 @ 10:00-11:00 EST: Science-informed practice
18 February 2021 @ 10:00-11:00 EST: Integrative thinking
15 April 2021 @ 10:00-11:00 EDT: So what? And what next?
