Raising cybersecurity awareness is a core challenge to address the so called human aspects of cybersecurity which contributes to most of all cybersecurity incidents. A well-known challenge is that awareness raising efforts should be tailored to the needs and preferences of users but how to efficiently do that remains an open challenge.

Leveraging Generative AI

One promising avenue for addressing this challenge is the use of Generative AI (GenAI), which is revolutionizing content creation by enabling dynamic, scalable, and context-aware generation tailored to individual needs and preferences. In the context of CSA, GenAI can be leveraged to produce personalized educational content that adapts to users’ knowledge levels, behaviors, preferences, personality and risk profiles—delivering targeted phishing simulations, scenario-based narratives, or interactive lessons that increase relevance and engagement.

Increased organizational awareness

The project seeks to deliver actionable advice and technologies that can help organizations tailor cybersecurity awareness initiatives. In doing so, the project output can help organizations making their awareness raising initiatives more efficient.
