The scholarships include both the Chamber of Commerce Scholarship and the Gunnar Randholm Scholarship, both of which are awarded through the Business Community Donations Foundation in Jönköping. The scholarships are given to students who have excelled in subjects important to the development of the business sector, with the aim of encouraging international studies in these areas.

The scholarships were presented during the evening by the foundation’s chairman, Mathias Bransmo. As part of the ceremony, the students spoke about their studies and their upcoming exchange semesters, with destinations including Europe, Asia, and Australia.

“It’s great to represent Jönköping University on an evening like this and to see how important the university is in providing skills for the business community in Jönköping County. The students were excellent representatives of our schools when they talked about their education and their upcoming exchange semesters,” says Anders Jonzon, Chief Communications Officer at Jönköping University.

This year’s scholarship recipients are: Manuella Sauma, Matilda Hyberts, Herman Ek, Ida Friman, Dijana Juric, Jacob Månendahl, Layla Abdullahi, Edwin El Zouki, and Alma Jonsson.
