JIBS PhD Candidates from University of Rwanda nailing their dissertation theses


In 2014 and 2107, 4 PhD students in Economics and 4 PhD students in Business Administration were admitted to a sandwich doctoral program at JIBS in collaboration with the University of Rwanda. They are well underway with completing their theses.

Yvonne Umulisa virtually nailed her thesis "The prospects for the East African Monetary Union: An empirical analysis".

Yvonne defended her dissertation in Economics on April 29, 2020 in the first dissertation seminar held online with participants from Rwanda, Great Britain, Spain and Sweden.
