Unique Foundry Initiative Launched at Almedalen

Sweden risks falling behind in the global race for the manufacturing technology of the future. During Almedals Week, SMEC - the Swedish Metal Casting Excellence Center - will be launched. This national foundry initiative brings together Jönköping University and the Swedish Foundry Association in collaboration with Volvo Cars, the Volvo Group, Scania, and others to strengthen the industry’s ability to adapt and its competitiveness.
