Banned Books Week Sweden

Banned Books Week Sweden is a national campaign coordinated by the Dawit Isaak Library in Malmö and Swedish PEN. Its aim is to keep the conversation about freedom of expression alive and, in doing so, defend everyone's right to read.

At the University Library, we are marking the week with a book display featuring titles that have been banned or censored for various reasons. This year, there is a special focus on speculative fiction.

Welcome!
