All JU mobiles can get 5G!

The next generation mobile network is here and promises lightning-fast connection and completely new digital services. All phones and subscriptions that JU has are ready and Tele2 is continuously expanding its 5G network. There is already excellent coverage in central Jönköping.

My phone connects to 4G – why?

Sometimes you may need to activate 5G for the phone to select that network. You can do that easily via Settings.

Iphone

Settings -> Mobile Data -> Mobile Data Options -> Voice & Data

Android

Settings -> Connections -> Mobile networks -> Network mode

Is your phone still not connecting to 5G? Then it could be that you have a SIM card that is too old. A new one is waiting for you at the IT Helpdesk and you are welcome to stop by during regular opening hours.
