Members of the Practice Based Educational Research environment conduct research of clear relevance to those working in schools, preschools and after-school centres. We work to develop sustainable collaborations between researchers and educators in all types of schools. These research collaborations are regional, national and international.
All research done in the PER environment focusses on addressing questions that different stakeholders within the education system encounter in their professional practice. Consequently, this research has relevance not only for elementary school, upper secondary school, preschool, and after-school centres, but also for teacher education. Several of the researchers in the environment are also deeply involved in the JU teacher training program.
