Swedish Language, Culture and Society I 7,5 creditsThis course will give a basic knowledge of Swedish grammar, vocabulary and everyday phrases. Furthermore, it will give sufficient language skills and a general ”know-how” to understand and make yourself understood in situations occurring in daily life in Sweden. It will also give an overview over Swedish society and culture.
Course Contents• Basic communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Basic Swedish grammar
• Lectures (in English) on Swedish culture and society
PrerequisitesGeneral requirements and English proficiency is required. Exemption is granted from the requirement in Swedish.
