Digital imprints – new research exhibition at the library
You can now visit the research exhibition Digital imprints – three perspectives on the impact of technology on people, work and places. The exhibition highlights three research projects that illustrate how digital technology creates new opportunities for businesses, while also leaving clear imprints on our surroundings.
Where is the cloud? is based on research from Linköping University and makes visible the physical infrastructure behind digital services, as well as its environmental consequences.
When AI enters industrial organisations: Work, change, learning, and data in practice showcases research from AFAIR/SPARK at The School of Engineering in close collaboration with industry. It illustrates how AI-driven digitalisation is implemented in real industrial settings.
AI Imprints focuses on local media coverage of data centres in Sandviken and Gävle. The research project is conducted within Media and Communication at the School of Education and Communication.
The exhibition was developed by the University Library, Linköping University, the School of Education and Communication, and the School of Engineering. It will be on display until 5 June.
