Content and outcomes

Hybrid teaching opens up new teaching opportunities, such as reaching new student groups and contributing to flexible learning. But for the teaching to work well, the pedagogy needs to be designed in a way that activates and engages students, both on campus and online.

The workshop focuses on work with hybrid teaching with more than 40 students.

It begins with a short theoretical part that attends to different forms of teaching in time and space (synchronous/asynchronous; on campus/online) and what consequences that our choices as teachers have in terms of pedagogical design.

The main emphasis in the workshop is then on a hands-on part where you get to design hybrid teaching in your own subject and try out working with this in one of JU's hybrid rooms.

Horizontal aims for Educate activities

The horizontal aims are to empower and enable teachers to solve problems in pedagogical environments, promote and participate in peer learning and co-creation, and expand their pedagogical repertoire to facilitate lifelong learning.
