Students who will carry out a traineeship/internship/industrial placement at a company, organisation or research and education centre in one of the 33 Erasmus+ countries can apply for an Erasmus+ traineeship grant. You can also apply for the grant if you are planning to write your degree essay at a company in another European country.

The grant should be a contribution to the expenses arising in connection with the traineeship period, such as travel and accommodation expenses. The traineeship period must be minimum 60 days and maximum 12 months and you are expected to work full time.

How to apply?

In order to apply for the Erasmus+ scholarship for traineeship you first need to have your traineeship approved by the course coordinator/tutor/supervisor at your JU school. In order for the online application to be finalized and valid, this person must sign a printed version of the application. The signed application must then be submitted to the International Office via the case management system External link, opens in new window..
