Opening hours on campus during summer

The beautiful summer is here and that of course means rain and a quieter campus. Most of JU's activities have changed opening hours during the summer. Read more below.

Library

Opening hours 8 June - 24 August

8 June to 21 June, open Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00
Closed on 18-19 June, Midsummer
22 June to 3 July, open Monday to Friday at 10:00 to 16:00
6 July to 7 August, open Monday to Friday at 10:00 to 14:00
10 August - 21 August, open Monday to Friday at 08:00 to 16:00

IT Helpdesk

Opening hours 15 June to 7 August:
Closed for visitors
Phone hours: Monday - Friday 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00.
Web: 24/7

If members of JU staff need to collect or drop off anything an appointment can be made with the IT department via the case management system or phone. You can also collect and drop off via the parcel locker.

Ordinary opening hours from 10 August:
Visitors: 08:00-15:00
Phone hours: Monday-Wednesday, Friday 07:30-16:00, Thursday 07:30-16:00
Web: 24/7, handled during office hours

Service Center

The Service Center's opening hours will be as follows (weekdays):

Week 26 open between 10:00-15:00

Weeks 27-28 open between 10:00-13:00

The Service Center will be completely closed in weeks 29-31.

Week 32 open between 10:00-13:00

Weeks 33-34 open between 8:00-15:00

Weeks 35-36 open between 8:00-16:00

Accommodation office

8-11 June, Monday and Thursday, drop-in 11:30-12:30.

15 June - 16 August, closed for visitors. Contact the Accommodation Office via the case management system http://accoservice.ju.se

17-23 August, Monday drop-in 11:30-12:30. Thursday - Sunday is pick up from 13:00-20:00 for international students. Saturday and Sunday is pick up from 13:00-20:00 for Pathway students.

24-28 August, Monday-Friday drop-in 11:30-12:30.

International Office

Available online all summer through the case management system with somewhat limited service. The last drop-in at the Service Center will be on 10 June, online drop-in on 15 June, and then closed until 24 August.

Study counselling

Available via studievagledning@ju.se. Limited service during the summer.

Admissions

Available at admissions.office@ju.se. The Admissions office is less staffed during the summer and longer response times may occur.

Exam Administration

The Exam Administration will not be available during weeks 28-32, 6 July - 10 August.

Study Administration

The Study Administration will not be available during weeks 29 and 30, meaning 13 July - 27 July.

Career Center

The Career Center is closed from 17 June and reopens on 10 August.

Student Health Care

Student Health Care will closed between 17 June and 10 August.

Registrar and Archive

The office is open Mondays-Fridays all summer, 10:00-12:00.
The rest of the time, the registrar is available via email and telephone, 09:00-13:00. See telephone numbers below.
