Do you have an idea with the potential to make a difference?

Registration is now open for Science Park’s 2026 Ideas Competition. The competition is open to people in Jönköping County who have an idea that could solve a problem, simplify everyday life or contribute to the society of the future – regardless of whether the idea is new or has already been tested on a small scale.

Do you have a research idea, method or solution with the potential to create value outside academia? Then the competition is also an opportunity to explore how your idea can be developed further.

Ideas in the fields of AI and data-driven solutions, energy and smart resource use, as well as health and wellbeing with a focus on technology, are particularly welcome.

The winner will receive 25,000 Swedish kronor from the Growth Foundation to further develop their idea, as well as individual coaching from Science Park.

Applications are open until 31 August 2026. Both students and staff at Jönköping University are warmly invited to take part.
