JIBS Master Programme Fair 2025
On October 29, JIBS held its annual Master Programme Fair. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to helpingstudents makewell-informed decisions about their educational future and showcased the benefits of pursuing a master’s degree at JIBS.
“Our master’s programmes are designed with a strong focus on employability and skills development, combined with JIBS’s deep expertise and research excellence,” said Anna Blombäck, Associate Dean of Education at JIBS.
The JIBS lobby was buzzing during Wednesday’s lunch hour as the fair took place. As usual, programme representatives and current master’s students were present to answer questions.
International interest in JIBS master’s programmes
Students and visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the programmes, the unique features of JIBS’s master’s offerings, and the career opportunities they provide. The fair offered valuable insights into what makes JIBS’s advanced studies so distinctive – especially its international perspective and strong ties to the business community.
One of the students attending the fair was Adin Csik from Hungary.
Adin is currently studying the bachelor’s programme in Sustainable Enterprise Development at JIBS and was exploring what the different master’s programmes could offer him.
“Right now, I’m interested in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, even though I don’t know much about it yet. That’s why it’s really useful to be here today and to be able to ask questions and talk to programme representatives. I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll do my master’s here in Sweden or somewhere else,” he said.
Another student visiting the fair was Suzna Kh from India. She has only been in Sweden for two months and is currently studying the Master’s in Engineering Management at JIBS.
“I’m curious to meet new people and learn more about the opportunities JIBS’s master’s programmes can offer. I’m interested in the Digital Business and AI Management programme because I believe it’s a field that will always be relevant,” she said.
The value of personal interaction
Anna Blombäck was pleased to see the strong interest in JIBS’s master’s programmes.
“We want to highlight the excellent master’s programmes we offer for those who wish to deepen their knowledge or specialise based on their bachelor’s degree. This event is an important opportunity for us to show current students the great chance they have to continue their studies right here at JIBS,” she said.
She also emphasised the importance of face-to-face meetings compared to only reading about a programme online.
“Personal interaction means a lot. For students to actually talk to programme directors and ask questions is incredibly valuable,” she added.
