By now, you should have already applied for student housing through our Accommodation Office. Make sure you announce your arrival to Accommodation Office between December 1-15 to confirm your application. Note: if you do not announce your arrival, you will lose your guaranteed accommodation.
Keep in mind that there is a severe housing shortage, so students are strongly urged to follow through with the student housing application. The online registration for exchange students at School of Engineering will be open from 3 January 2022. You will receive an email on 3 January with instructions on how to register for your courses and activate your JU user account. Please note that the registration is mandatory.
The login process consists of the following steps:
Step 1: Visit www.ju.se/registration

Step 2: To retrieve the one-time password, fill in in the username.

You need a JU card to access premises on campus, borrow books from the University Library, access printers, get student discounts, etc. You should order your JU card when activating your account. More info can be found at ju.se/ju-card
JU Mobile allows you to access your schedule through the app as well as book rooms, register for exams, see your study results, view the news, etc. You can download it on the App Store, or Google Play.

At JU, it is compulsory for all students to become members of Jönköping Student Union. The Student Union is a great resource for students – they influence the quality of education, arrange activities and trips, carry out various projects, and much more. The student union fee is included in the tuition for tuition-fee paying students, however, all other students are required to pay the membership fee separately. Generally, we sign documents (Learning Agreement, Certificate of Arrival etc.) during the introduction week in January. Please make sure to fill in the information requested on the documents before you submit them to us for signature!
You can submit the documents to us for signature via our case management system (http://educationsupport.ju.se), please choose case type: incoming exchange.
If you do not have a digital copy of the documents, it is possible to scan them on the printers located on the JU campus and then upload them to the case management system.

It is compulsory to attend the Introduction Week, however if for some reason you are unable to arrive in time there, please contact the International Office (choose "Incoming Exchange" as the case type). Also remember to contact the Accommodation Office about your late arrival: accommodation@ju.se.

Please note that our answer may take longer than usual during the holiday period 23 December – 9 January due to limited staff.
