Från data till digitalt produktpass: praktik och implementering för industrin 2.5 hp
Digital Product Passports (DPPs) will require organisations to manage, structure, and share product information in new ways. While understanding the regulatory framework is important, successful implementation also depends on the ability to connect data, systems, and processes across the product lifecycle.
This course is designed for professionals who want to move from DPP concepts to practical implementation. Participants will explore how product information can be organised and connected to DPP solutions, while gaining insight into the technical foundations needed to support future requirements. Topics include data management, interoperability, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity considerations in an industrial context.
Through demonstrations, practical exercises, and industry-inspired examples, participants will develop an understanding of how existing systems and data sources can contribute to DPP readiness. The course provides a valuable opportunity to evaluate organisational capabilities, identify implementation challenges, and explore pathways towards scalable and secure DPP solutions.
Kursinnehåll
This course provides a practical introduction to the implementation of Digital Product Passports (DPPs) in an industrial setting. Participants learn how product lifecycle information can be modelled, structured, secured, and connected to DPP solutions. The course covers technical architectures, data models, identifiers, interoperability standards, and cybersecurity requirements. Through demonstrations and hands‑on exercises, participants work with DPP‑related data and explore how such information can be integrated into existing IT systems and digital infrastructures used in industry.
The course includes the following elements:
- Technical architecture for Digital Product Passports
- Data models, identifiers, metadata structures, and interoperability standards
- Cybersecurity in DPPs: data integrity, authentication, and secure lifecycle management
- Modelling and structuring product lifecycle information
- Connecting lifecycle data to a DPP structure
- Integrating DPP‑related data into existing IT systems or architectures
- Practical demonstrations and hands‑on exercises based on an industry‑inspired prototype
