Only three out of ten companies in Sweden are owned by women. No municipality in the country achieves equal ownership of companies. This is evident from the party-political independent think tank Ownershift's latest report on ownership in Sweden. Even if the trend is towards a greater share of female ownership, it is slow and at the current rate it would take 80 years before equality is achieved.

- It is important to use statistics to shed light on one of the JIBS focus areas from a gender perspective - female ownership, says Anna Nordén.
