JIBS alumni and MMTC member present research at the 40th EGOS Colloquium.

MMTC member Joaquín Cestino Opens in new window., along with Moritz Scherer and Adam C Backman, who are alumni of JIBS' Strategic Entrepreneurship program and winners of the 2023 MMTC Master thesis award, presented their research as an academic paper at the 40th EGOS Colloquium "Crossroads for Organizations: Time, Space, and People". EGOS was held at the University of Milano-Bicocca from July 4-6, 2024, in Milan, Italy.

Their presentation was part of Sub-theme 5: Multi-level Approaches to Social Evaluations: From the Micro to the Macro and Back. The conference paper is titled "Legitimacy alignment: The role of legitimacy judgments in the emergence of new organizational forms" and is authored by Joaquín Cestino, Moritz Scherer, Adam Backman, and Mart Ots.
