I have previously worked as a teacher in Swedish and English in upper secondary school and both during my education and when working as a teacher I have been interested in reading and reading education in various ways. Therefore, my general and primary research interest concerns reading and reading education in this digital world we are living in right now and my more specific interest is audiobooks. Among other things, I am curious to investigate how the debate about audiobooks is conducted in Swedish press and what impacts/consequences the increased popularity and use of audiobooks may have on reading and reading education in upper secondary school.
