MMTC Postdoctoral Fellow Crystal Abidin was interviewed by a radio show “The ‘get rich quick scheme’ influencing what you buy” on the Internet news and views portal The Conversation. She commented about the trend of influencers on social media gathering followers and making money.

Crystal joined MMTC in August 2017, and researches about influencers and Internet celebrity culture in Sweden, Australia, Singapore, and East Asia.
