Ramya Sakthivel

Assistant Professor, Business Administration

Ramya's research is centered on identifying interventions that encourage environmentally responsible decision-making, sustainable practices, and climate action within organizations. She investigates issues at the intersection of business and society, with a specific emphasis on Organizational Sustainability, Organizational Behavior, and Behavioral Ethics.

Prioir to joining JIBS, Ramya was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale-NUS College and Nanyang Business School in Singapore. She earned her PhD in Management (Organizational Behavior) from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where her research received notable awards. Dr. Ramya also holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from NIT Trichy, India.
