Security issues in focus on Cybersecurity Day

About 110 people attended the Cyber Security Day at the School of Engineering (JTH), Jönköping University (JU) on 1 October.

"It is perfect that JTH has two cyber security programme because the need for knowledgeable people in the security industry is endless," says Jan Olsson, Detective Inspector at the National Cyber Crime Centre of the Swedish Police and an expert in cyber crime.

Jan Olsson was one of the lecturers during the Cyber Security Day together with Viktor Sjögren, CEO of Dizparc Security Solutions, and Petra Jonsson, Geopolitical analyst at Secify. Viktor studied the cybersecurity programme at JTH and thought it felt good to be back.

"It was and is a fantastic programme, which provides good technical and basic knowledge for the industry. We at Dizparc have taken in at least 25 students from JTH's Cybersecurity programme over the years. We belive that the students' basic technical knowledge is very high and are well equipped to do a great job in business. What you may need to add is a little more business-related issues, at least if you work in a consulting business like I do," says Viktor Sjögren.
