AI Search in Primo

The library now has access to Research Assistant, a search feature in Primo based on generative AI. One advantage of this service compared to others is its focus on searching scientific material.

Primo Research Assistant is a feature within the library's search service, Primo. You can search the service by asking questions. Research Assistant scans 30 sources and generates a text summary based on the five it finds most relevant. This summary includes references along with direct links to the sources, and you can click through to access the full results.

Keep in mind that Primo may not always select the most relevant sources. It is best to use Research Assistant as a starting point for your search, but you should also conduct additional searches for more comprehensive results.
