On 10-11 June, the 14th Scandinavian Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) will be held at the School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University (JU). This year's theme is "AI for a better society". The conference brings together researchers and practitioners within AI, who present their latest findings and discuss future opportunities for AI.

    Times Higher Education has released their 2024 ranking of the best young universities in the world. Jönköping University (JU) is ranked 168th, an improvement of over 30 places since 2023.

  • JTH students on the Industry Trip


    A group of JTH students are standing and watching a forklift. The Industry Trip (Industriresan) is organized every year in collaboration with the School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University, Campus Värnamo, and Business Gnosjöregionen where students visit a few companies in the Gnosjö region over two days.

    “It feels great to go on a trip like this, and to have a change of environment. It's also exciting to come here and see these big companies,” says Alma Jonsson, who is studying to become a civil engineer at JTH.

    On Saturday, May 4, Jönköping University's (JU) Academic Ceremony was held with the inauguration of full professors and the conferment of PhDs at the culture hall, Spira. This year, JU's new president, Måns Svensson, was also installed.

    On Walpurgis Night, Tuesday 30th April, the arrival of spring was celebrated in Hälsoparken. For the second year running, the festivities were co-organized by Jönköping University (JU) and the Jönköping Student Union, drawing over 900 students, staff, and other Jönköping residents to gather in the spring sunshine.
