Doctoral Thesis Defence at JIBS

Muhammad Quasim will defend his doctoral thesis in Statistics at a public defence on Monday, 2 December 2024 at 10.00 am in B1014 at JIBS. The title of Muhammad's thesis is “Model averaging and variable selection methods for causal models”. Most welcome to attend.

Jönköping - Sweden's "southern Europe"?

A study by Professor Lucia Naldi at JIBS reveals that many students in medium-sized Swedish towns, such as Jönköping, prefer to live at home during their university studies. This challenges the idea that young Swedes always move out early, unlike in southern Europe where staying with parents into adulthood is common.
