Accelerating and Leading Digitalisation 5 credits

Course Contents

The digital world is evolving at a rapid pace, driven by the post-pandemic surge in technology adoption and the rise of AI. In response, organisations are constantly seeking to leverage technology to stay relevant and competitive. Yet it is not uncommon to see numerous digital transformation initiatives fail, not always due to technology shortcomings, but often because of leadership gaps. As organisations face constant disruptions, leaders who can manage people, their mindset, and behaviours in digital transformations are in high demand. In this course, you will learn to lead digital transformation in the age of AI, starting by integrating technological understanding with leadership and change theories. You will discover how to assess organisations for digital change, identify areas of resistance, and foster the culture and mindset required for successful change. You will develop transformation models where disruption and stability co-exist. In addition, you will learn how to propel momentum through collaboration, transforming strategic plans into real, lasting impact. By the end of this course, you will be able to lead digital initiatives with confidence by bringing to the surface the hidden causes of resistance and crafting compelling narratives that support collective efforts across the organisation. You will also be able to select technologies that strategically support your organisation, and weave them into digitally resilient processes where experimentation is encouraged. You will leave the course ready to bridge technology and leadership, turning digital transformation into a tangible, people-focused process that fuels long-lasting impact.
