Research Methodology on Advanced Level 7.5 credits

The main goal is to develop knowledge and understanding of scientific research methodology to prepare the student to design and accomplish a research project within the main field of study, performing analyses using qualitative and quantitative research methods, and to communicate the results. The course aims to make the student familiar with the philosophical and methodological underpinnings of the main field of study. The course includes all stages of a research project, from definition of the purpose to the presentations of the results. This scope includes activities such as literature review, considerations of relevance, preparation, planning and execution of a study, presenting implications and conclusions, and considering the study from a philosophical standpoint.
