Swedish Company and Insolvency Law from an EU Legal Perspective 5 credits
Course Contents
This course provides you with a foundational understanding of Swedish company law, EU company law, and Swedish insolvency law from a European Union legal perspective.
In the course you study the formation, governance, and dissolution of companies, with particular emphasis on the interplay between national and EU legal sources. These include Swedish statutory law, relevant EU regulations and directives, as well as case law from general courts.<br>
After the course you have developed the ability to identify, analyze, and critically assess legal issues within the aforementioned areas of law. The course is designed for both Swedish and international students.
Prerequisites
General entry requirements and passed at least 30 ECTS in first-cycle courses in Business Administration or Economics and Proof of English proficiency is required.
