Course Contents
- Historical and contemporary perspectives on war in relation to states and the international order
- Social scientific theories on war, world orders and state development
- Hegemonic and post-hegemonic influence on international cooperation, and state development
- Contemporary conflicts and contemporary challenges in a changing world
- The relationship between war, military technology, ideology development, and social development
Prerequisites
The applicant must hold the minimum of a bachelor’s degree (i.e. the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) with at least 90 credits in social science including independent work, i.e., a thesis or the equivalent. English proficiency is required.
