Active Ownership in a changing world
On October 3rd, CeFEO members Kajsa Haag and Mattias Nordqvist participated in a full-day event for business owners organized by Nordea.
Over 60 participants spent the day at Spira to learn more about Active Ownership in a changing world, excellently moderated by Louise Nicolin.
After a welcome address by Anna Hedenborn and Peter Dalmalm (Nordea), Kajsa and Mattias talked about the challenges and opportunities of family ownership from a research perspective. Thereafter, Helena von der Esch and Grant Thornton explained how and why an ownership constitution is important for active ownership. After lunch, Gunnar Rytterling (Nordea), shared insights about the latest developments in Application Programming Interface (API) and automation of currency trading. This was followed by an inspiring talk from Jan Ferlin, a communication advisor, about the strength of family business brands and how to nurture them. The day concluded with a panel discussion with three business owners, generously sharing their ups and downs from different succession experiences.
Thanks to all engaged participants and to the Jönköping Nordea team for excellent event management!
