Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) are proud to announce the winners of their 2021 Thesis Awards.

CeFEO Thesis Award on Family Business and Ownership 2021

A jury of CeFEO faculty members has been evaluating and granting awards for bachelor’s and master’s theses on Family Business and Ownership written by JIBS students since 2013. This year, CeFEO awards bachelor and master theses based on JIBS’ profile area subjects, specially on family business or ownership. The winners will be awarded 10 000 SEK and a certificate.

Facts:

CeFEO Thesis Award on Family Business and Ownership

Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) and The Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership have been granting awards for bachelor’s and master’s theses on Family Business and Ownership written by JIBS students since 2013. A thesis should meet the following criteria to qualify for the competition:

  • Address family business issues, theoretically and/or empirically
  • Have received a grade of at least a B in the final exam

The best theses are rewarded up to 10,000 SEK. The award is given to students who, through their genuine interest, hard work and commitment, have written, presented and successfully defended a bachelor’s or master’s thesis in JIBS’ profile area with a focus on Family Business or Ownership.

The 2021 award committee was formed by (in alphabetical order): Leona Achtenhagen, Anup Banerjee, Massimo Baù, Joaquin Cestino, Edward Gilmore and Timur Uman.
