Enhanced search opportunities in Web of Science

The library now has access to the Web of Science Expanded Package. This means more opportunities to find citation information for, among other things, academic books, conference papers and research data. For several of the indexes, the backward coverage has also been extended with archives that in some cases contain references back to the year 1900.

Web of Science is a citation database where you can find references to scientific publications in all fields. The database consists of many different specific sub-databases, or indexes. The normal mode is to search in the Core collection, which gathers the most common search indexes, but it is also possible to select a specific index.

The Expanded Package includes:

  • Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), from over 304 000 conferences - Info

  • Chemical Collection - Index Chemicus (IC), Current Chemical Reactions (CCR) - Info
